A new Air Conditioner and Laundry Machine Control System has been introduced in Student Halls to enhance the living experience and provide modern amenities for students. This innovative service allows students to pay for in-room air-conditioning and laundry fees through a mobile application.
Air Conditioner Control System
The Air Conditioner Control System has two types of installations for power meter systems to cater to the diverse infrastructure of various residences. In SKCC Hall and UG Hall I/II/III/IV/V, smart power meters are installed in each student's bedroom. In UG Hall VI/VII/VIII/IX, the power meters are installed in the central meter rooms on each floor. With the mobile application, students can easily monitor and pay for their energy consumption. (see diagram)
Laundry Machine Control System
The Laundry Machine Control System includes a control panel in each laundry room to operate multiple washing and drying machines. QR readers are provided for students to present the QR code before starting the laundry service. With the mobile application, students can check the availability of washing and drying machines in each laundry room without physically going to the laundry room. (see diagram)
